FAMOUS 22KM OFF-PISTE SKI DESCENT
An amazing 22km off-piste glaciated ski descent with unparalled scenery. There are many routes down the VB from straightforward gentle slopes to 40 degree, challenging, exposed, steep riding.
The normal descent in good conditions is suitable for skiers with a positive attitude who can comfortably ski red runs on piste. The majority of the descent is off-piste on glaciated terrain. Your guide will equip you with the required safety equipment of a harness and avalanche transceiver.

Mountain Adventure Guides prefer to meet their clients at their hotel or accommodation the evening before to discuss and plan the day skiing the Vallee Blanche. If that is not possible we will arrange for you and your group to meet your guide at the bottom of the Aiguille du Midi lift station. From there you embark on your day with your guide which will take you down the most scenic off-piste run in the world, the amazing 22km Vallee Blanche.
In good conditions a positive, adventurous skier who can comfortably deal with red runs on piste will usually enjoy this unique ski descent. We recommend carrying a small rucksack to hold a snack/picnic and drink plus a camera for the day. We have guided skiers as young as ten and as not so young as 75 on the Vallee Blanche!
